car is a 2001 ls with torsen

diff or sounded like the diff was whining.....
explained my problem to my supervisor at work and he said its the pinion bearing..... i had researched it the night before but i don't have any play in the driveshaft.....

im trying to pull the diff to inspect, but can't seem to get the axles out. wtf?
any tips?

There are axel nuts on the outsides. The axels are also sometimes sized and will take some force to pop loose. If you're trying to remove the axel stubs on the insides you will need to apply pressure with a pry bar while simultaneously hitting them out with a hammer.

Trick on the axle nut is to use a punch to open up the part of the nut that is peened over...remove the center cap on the wheel and break the nut loose BEFORE you put the car up on the jackstands...breaker bar and big socket works well...i usually end up standing on the breaker bar..works every time.
