Im pretty sure it does but just wanted to double check before I make the purchase,

a rear end swap from a 02 auto NB will fit on a 1.6 NA correct?

drive shaft lengths are only different due to different sizes of the diffs and as long as I get the drive shaft diff and axles from the same car everything should be bolt on.

or am I wrong and will I need a manual drive shaft?

I believe you need a manual driveshaft dude to the difference in transmission length. Anyone care to back me up?

Yes, you are correct. You will need a manual driveshaft, any year from 94 to 05 will work with that setup in your car.
