I ended up hitting a curb pretty badly and bent one of the rear knuckles and lca. I'm trying to remove the knuckle from the axle. As of now I've removed the caliper, rotor, and the top and bottom bolts of the knuckle. The axle is still connected to the hub. My question is does the hub need to be removed before I can disconnect the knuckle or is it rusted on there and just needs brute strength?

Brute strength nor a press was able to free the left axle from the hub on my car. Had THOUSANDS of pounds of pressure on it and it still wouldn't break free. I ended up buying a new new hub.
