Just got my replica set of mirrors today and I wanna see how people are mounting them up. Someone gave me the idea of mounting them on the electric mirror bases, but I don't like the idea, and or think it'll work...

Close up mounted, and decent pics would be highly appreciated. Brownie points to anyone who can show me their "custom made" adapter mounts.:woolery:

Show me more please :)

Found em on ebay for cheap. Spent a little more than I wanted to on them, but they seem to be good quality.

I pulled my door cards off today to try and take off my oem mirrors... I have no idea how I'm supposed to get to them :/

I absolutely love those mirrors and bought a pair a few years ago. I quickly found out that they won't work if you mount them on the OEM location. IIRC. you'll be able to see out of the drivers side but the passengers side is compromised. You'll only be able to see out of them clearly if you mount it far forward near the edge of the door and position it so that you're looking thru the quarter windows. I did not want to drill new holes in my door so I wound up hacking mine up and using a swivel base.

Now I have retrofitted Vitaloni Sebrings onto the OEM base

Hit up joeyb on this forum. He has a pair of Vitalonis mounted in the manner i described on his roadster

Awesome. I got a pair of "californians" and finally got the oem mirrors off, and found out exactly what you were saying. there's basically no way to make them work without putting them up forward of the quarter window.

Gotta figure something out. I don't wanna drill more holes in my door, lol.
