Day Mode

After doing a bunch of star and flower gauges, I thought it was time to do something a bit more traditional.

I've actually had this on the back burner for over a year. I've been researching old WWII fighter plane cockpits. I wanted to capture the feel of one while still designing something new.

R is for Reserve. Because there's ALWAYS gas below that last tick mark...

These have the same orientation as Revolver -a standard speedometer and a sport-rotated tach with 7000 at the noon mark.

Night Mode

I've become a huge fan of white lighting and incandescent bulbs. It's such a nice vintage-look glow. Kinda hard to get the white balance right without making it too yellow or too white, but this is pretty much what it looks like to my eyes at night.

Just lovely Adam, great job.
Hoping to get some of these for my car at some point.

*Edit: Whilst having a look at my standard gauges today I noticed that the rev counter only goes to 8k. Does your design use the same rev counter spacing but simply add an extra 500 revs at the top end so that the needle reads true?

Cheers,

Guy
