Its not competetive and as such helmuts are not allowed. The organisers found that when people wear them they get a bit to brave resulting in a few offs. Since introduction of the no helmut rule for none competative meets years ago there hasnt been any serious offs and remember it is only a single track short course with only one car on at any time.
On a proper race track like Silverston or Donnington you must wear a helmet when driving the track. I am doing a track day at Donnington Park at the end of the month and hope to post some more video :wink:
