I hate IT stuff. I could never do this full time. I volunteered for a week of this. It’s day 1 and I am straight up not having a great time.

To be fair, it’s military systems I’ve had no experience or training with, have no access to available subject matter experts, and it’s not like I can just google stuff. Tossed fully into the fire and have three days to get everything working. This is fine, everything is fine.

IT is fun. I have this cool issue where I get far too invested into my clients' issues and will beat the crap out of myself trying to fix it, then I burn out and become apathetic about everyone's issues with two weeks until my will to live slowly seeps back in.

Jake has basically sold me on the Maverick at this point.

Ordered flanges that should match my downpipe. Fingers crossed. Theoretically all the Japanese 1990 catalytic converters have approximately the same flange? It looks right. If it fits I'm that much closer to a 3 inch side exit. I just need to find exhaust hangers... Where do I get these?

Welcome to my life. Seems most of the music I enjoy, even when I find it years later, came from my high school and/or college days. Not going to lie: I suspect the reason for that is I'm getting old enough that I really miss those days.

Speaking of inflation: it may be raging out of control but at least a day of autocross at evergreen speedway is still just $70 for 12 runs. Now I just need the rain to stop.

Third overall. I think there were only about 85 people there today and not as many trailered cars on slicks. One of the cars ahead of me was in an enclosed trailer, and on Avons.

I put these tires on the car in July of 2021 and they have been on there for two winters now. The inside of the rears are looking pretty gnarly.

I think the way the coil packs are mounted is too close to the turbo, and they get too hot and start cutting out. So I need to make a bracket.

Still can't quite believe third overall with how bad the tires are. Pretty happy with that.
