i saw a line of v-dub busses heading north on the 405 around 3pm. they were all very stock but one was lowered and on similar wheels as that beetle. pretty cool stuff.

There was a huge (about 900 cars) vw show at the fairplex today. They were driving by my work all day long. Saw some really sweet cars but no hoodrides. Most were just really, really clean and stock.

It was the VW Classic. It's only been going on for at least 15 years. I flew in from Houston to attend. Good show. Second weekend of June every year. It's actually four days of shows starting Thursday.
