Just a thougt but I wonder if you could get the part where the lugs are attached (part #33-061) in 114.3pcd...then you could use all the deep dish rims they have for AE86`s...of course you`d have to re-drill the brake rotors too.

Bill here`s a pic of how the hubs look like...I thought about having them redrillied but would be out of the question as the lugs are pratcially at the end and a 114.3 would be out even more. For your perusal.

I just spoke with Martin Wilson at Monster Motorsports. He's working on a 5-lug hub kit for use with his V8 swap kits. He said there's a Protege rear hub/rotor combo that will fit on a Miata, so that leaves the front to figure out.

theres no need for new rotors. you can use the old ones. Pictured below are my old 1.6 rotors and you can see the imprint the multi hole Circuit 8`s left behind it would just be a matter of re drilling it in the blank spot between the 100 pcs holes.

rx7 brakes wont fit? just an idea..i could be wrong but I thought they were 4x114.3 or whatever it is
92 and up RX7`s are 5x114.3.....pre 92 RX7`s are 4x110
Not so:

MIATA, MX5 90-on 4X100 54.1

RX-7 93-96 5X114.3 67.1

RX7 GS,SPORT1 79-85 4X110 -

RX7 GSL/SE 84-88 4X114.3 59.6

RX7 GXL,GTU 86-92 5X114.3 59.6

RX7 TURBO II 87-92 5X114.3 59.6

I copied tihs from here:http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/Mazda___Vehicle_Bolt_Pattern_Reference.cfm

I think the 84-85 RX7 GSL-SE would be the best bet since they have 4 wheel disc brakes. The earlier RX7's have rear drum brakes so they are no good for us anyways.

The only remaining problem is that the Miata has a 54.1mm center bore, and the RX7 has 59.6mm center bore. You'll have to somehow shrink fit a steel sleeve over the bearing flange to make up the difference.

Not a bad idea at all though!!!!!!! Somebody should produce some custom bearing flanges w/ 4X114 bolt pattern =D> =D>
