The noise is coming from outside the cab. I can’t specify wear exactly it’s coming from. But if it only happens for a second and sometimes happens in 2s or 3s when I engage the clutch and disengage the clutch. It happens in 1st and 3rd gear the most. Can someone please help me out because it sounds horrible and makes me wanna grind my teeth.

Although there are a few causes of a squealing engine, one of the most common is a bad or failing serpentine belt. The serpentine belt – or drive belt, as its also known – plays a vital role in the engine. The belt drives many of the engine’s accessories, including the alternator and power steering pump. Therefore, when a serpentine belt goes bad, these accessories stop working.

Sounds like your clutch friction disc might be gone. Does the clutch slip at all? How many miles on your clutch?
