I recently traded for an evolution orange 2000 Miata (my second nb). The tan soft top has some minor rips and leaks, I bought a black plastic window soft top w/ rain rail to replace it. I have also purchased a double diagonal hard dog roll-bar for the car. I will be installing both myself. I’m thinking it would make more since to replace the top and then install the roll-bar. Thoughts? Thanks in advance

I agree it would be easier to do the top fist.
I would mock up the bar first and cut the holes in the partal shelf and behind the seat. then remove the bar install the top and rain rail. once the top is done then put the bar back in and bolt it up.

Having recently installed a rollbar I'd say that's probably the easiest way
