Bullshit; m.net is an invaluable resource on all things Miata. The fact that this guy admits to having violent tendencies makes it all the more fascinating, but only because of the "bystander" factor. In other words, where is he headed with this tirade, so I'll keep reading. The reality is that many of us are on several Miata forums, and the place you most frequent is the place you feel most comfortable. One insecure guy who hates a more cerebral forum doesn't make the forum suck, and m.net is definitely under complete control, no wonder he hates it. A loudmouth with a penchant for ranting is welcomed to come to this forum? Screw that, send him to some other place. He hates the miata he has, why would we want him here? The logic that he is complaining about m.net and should thus be welcomed to cr.net makes no sense. This forum is different from m.net, the difference is what allows it to flourish, a buffoon like him should stay away from either of the three Miata forums I'm a member of, this one included. My 2 cents.

one of my best friends who is pretty much a brother to me owns a s13 and he respects miata's (except the NC, that one never grew on him).

Only issue i have with the s chassis is that they are overrated, atleast on this side of the pond.

S13 wich i like the looks of the most suffers from a shitty engine(ca18, only option in eu). The s14 suffers from being overpriced but atleast the engine holds up better. S15 is the same as s14 only more overpriced.

I could easily get an r32gtr for less than an s15 over here, and that makes the s15 an unintersting choise.
For the proce of an s13 you could get a miata over here, and given the fact we have ca18 or go home as an option. The choise falls easily on the miata.

The only one worth considering is the s14. However you could get an fd for that kind of money so the choise is simple there aswell.

seriously dislike the rwdturbodriftstance hype kids that usually are found around the cars aswell.

Other than that i like the s chassis.

I frequent zilvia as well. I had the privildge of driving a na s13 hatch, swapped in an sr, currently asleeping till further notice. Now i drive a bone stock silver moss s14 with 92,000 miles on it. i put in a cd/mp3 player in it last year. It still had a cassette player. I got introduced to miatas via an 05 mazzdaspeed miata. Ever since then... I know what i didn't before. 240 was very powerful, didn't handle like the MSMS. MSM handled waaaaaaay better than the 240, but not as powerful. I am hoarding parts for the s14 in this order: suspension, power, exterior, interior. KEEP it Simple.

I think alerting him, after seeing the post of him owning that little kid that said miatyas are gay, blahblahblah, would be interesting...
