Sorry for being a bit out of my area, im a Mid Atlantic (Virginia) guy. Have family out in San Diego, flew out two months ago and bought a 1992 Miata.

Its been sitting at my little sisters place in Imperial Beach since, car wont fire, it will run off starting fluid just fine, but it has some BS alarm wired in. Have a brand new fuel pump put it in, fired and ran and shut off.

I fly in tommorow for a week to do the thanksgiving thing with my family, so I have a week to get it up and going.

Willing to shell out a few bucks, I have zero tools or knowledge when it comes to wiring, if someone has some free time to help me get this thing fired up and running.

It has to get loaded on a transport truck a week from tommorow, and it has to be driveable for them to transport it back.

Again, willing to pay for your time and labor and provide beer and pizza.

Check the following:

Fuel Pump Relay (right under dashboard next to steering column)
Fuel Injection Relay (in the main fuse compartment in the engine bay)
AFM (attached to the intake box)
Error codes (http://www.miata.net/garage/faultcodes.html)

As for the relays, remove them & tap them a few times & reinstall to see if they get unstuck. Be careful when checking the AFM.
