Hi,
I'm a totaly newbie and love the site. I'm looking to purchase a 99-2000 miata and I'm wondering how hard and expensive it is to add an LSD to a base model. Of course, I realize that different shops will give different quotes and charge different rates, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me a best estimate on cost.

Also, how hard is it to update the lights/bumper to look like a 2001+? I want to stick with the 99-2000 since I understand the engine better for supercharging but would like a more updated look.

Many thanks in advance for any help/advice!

A friend did that on a '93. Unfortunately I wasn't there when they did the job. Probably easiest to get the entire diff (rather than just the guts) and swap the entire housing.

It bolts on, but the headlights are different, so they don't quite line up. Another friend had done that swap. Looked good.

i don't know about swapping headlights.
