Soon to be replaced inanimate object "knows"

I'm waiting on my new smartphone to come in the mail, and since the order was placed, my current phone is having all sorts of issues out of the blue. These include random lagging, freezing up, and restarting. Strange because this phone has been rooted, and flashed, and served me w/o fault for about a year.

Reminded me of my friend's '98 accord. That thing was a tank, survived just about everything. But on the drive to go trade in for his 09 wrx, it got a CEL, started running rough, and transmission started to slip.

Anyone else have similar stories to share?
