I am original owner of a 04 MSM. At 3100 miles I have changed all suspension to Teins. So after all these years of keeping the springs/shocks in the garage, time to make some room.

1) I only have 3 of them, can't find the 4th :fp:

So how much should I ask for 3 shocks/springs of a MSM, that are barely used.

Thanks

well...as a set assembled they go for $250-350 usually....

as a half set they are not worth much...the pair of patching shocks might well for $50-100 and the single one for $20.

What pair and single do you have? I might be interested. :)

All MSm came with yellow bilsteins and red springs.

Not about too good for money. Sold house, moving to New place....held on to something for 5 years don't want to haul it around for 50$ if that's what its worth.

I will ask my msm friends.

here's some part #s and prices

rear spring - NE45-28-011 SPRING,COIL-REAR $151.38
$90.81

rear shock -
NE45-28-700A DAMPER,REAR $228.31
$136.96

So those are Mazdacomp prices (less than dealer).

So add another what...$30-40 for the upper mount and you're at $267 to replace the one you lost. So factor in that sets this new may sell in the $350-400 range and your set is worth.....$83-133 bucks. Probably about $20 less considering the stuff needs to be shipped from 2 different locations (you and mazda).

And these are BEST CASE scenarios with pricing. Mazda comp is the cheapest. Period.

Ok looked and looked, can't find the fourth.

The set is basically brand new. Finally took them out of the box, and took some pics. Here you go. You are welcome to verify on shock dyno if needed, that indeed they are basically unused.

Thanks for PMing me. I replaced my stock shocks with newer..stock shocks.
By the way, the one that's missing is the rear one. Front ones are longer because the front shock towers are higher than the rear and to clear susp. parts
