Hey guys. I went to the dyno last weekend to see what number the carbs put down. It made 111whp. I was happy but there seems to be a lot more for improvement as my a/f was too rich and spark at the top end was weak. So is there anything I can do to get stronger spark? Coil replacement? Ignition booster? What are you options? My plugs and wires are new. Thanks, guys.

on miataturbo.net, a guy on there was able to switch over to 2000 something COP's, it should improve spark all over. from what i got from it, you can run the plugs off of the stock ecu, but i think he maybe running with an na8. but i think it may be worth looking into, and i'm thinking of doing this myself

umm...CE28, didn't you just solved your own case there?

should you get any spark intensifiers because you're running rich and have weak top end spark? uh...no.

why don't you get a stoichiometer first? its cheaper than say...a msd system.

get a stoichiometer, tinker with your adjustment screws knowing you got carbs and you'll need to know how someday. instead of finding out why your car runs great at the beach, but poorly in the mountains.

then get upgraded spark equipment...
