Good day!

I'm new to the Clubroadster forum, and wanted to make a thread for my car.

It's an 97. NA6.

Aftermarked goodies:

- Kraftwerks Rotrex supercharger kit.
- Torsen LSD
- 949 Racing Ceramic clutch, with light weight aluminum flywheel
- Loud noisy exhaust

Awesome stuff on the way:

- Megasquirt MSPNP
- Koyo 55mm aluminum radiator
- Coolant reroute kit

More pictures are coming! :)

I bought the car around mid-summer 2013.

Stopped on the way home. Took a pic.

Drove the car for a couple of days before I got my Garage vary lip, and el'chepo hardtop spoiler.

Then I installed some 35mm lowering springs and a buddy gave me some BBS's from an BMW e30.

Trackdays are awesome.
Even with an open diff, and 90hp, it worked almost okay :D

Then, inspired by my awesome driving, a buddy picked up one as well.

Got some cheapo TaTechnix coilovers.

And some new rimses for it.

Woop woop

Ordered the supercharger, and some other goodies.

Still waiting for the supercharger kit, a trackday came up.
This time on a "winter practice" track = Real slippery when wet, real dry when dry.

Video:

Me filming, buddy in front.

And then. Happiness! :bouncin:

Took some late hours one night and got it all mounted:

DIY master cylinder brace. Is awesome

FedEx brought me awesome stuff from 949 Racing

And we got it in the right place!

Had to try it. It works. Flames at 0.49 :D

New trackday!

Buddy filmed me trying some chained drift. Need more powah!

Some picses from that day:

Last friday I invested even more money in this fun-bomb.
Hoping to make some real power now.
And some real cooling

Got to be something wrong with these rear tyres. They are smoking :D

And, at home with my other love/hate car.

Sorry guys for a lot of pics and text for now, but that's how it has lived the past year :D

Love it more and more every time I drive it.

Greetings. I am enjoying your post. I also have a black 93 and I've been contemplating doing the same.

What did you buy along with the SC?

Why did Project-G charge tax if you are out of state?

With respect to the MegaSquirt why the IAT sensor delete? I read the manual still not sure.

Was the coolant reroute system effective, why that brand?

Did you notice any power gains adding the MegaSquirt. Any dynos before and after?

I read a lot of posts stating this SC system is short on bangs for the bucks when compared to a turbo system especially on a 1.6. All the posts I've read indicate that this system is not adjustable. Any thought on squeezing more ponies out of the 1.6?

Regards,

David

Thank you!

- I only bought the supercharger kit, and some other parts for the car. Including the G-vent window. Nothing Sc related.

- They did not charge any tax. The tax was removed in the checkout.

- The IAT sensor delete, so I can remove the air flow meter.

- The coolant reroute system, and the Megasquirt is still in shipping, so that I will have to wait to give some feedback on.

- Of course the supercharger is low on bang for the bucks compared to turbo, but I love how simple everything is. Easy to remove for vehicle inspection etc.

But so far I've got around 10 000km on the supercharger, including one trackday, and I've loved every second of it.
