I'm looking into a supercharger for my 01. Is Jackson Racing the only option I have? How much do I have to spend to get decent hp? HELP!

Shoot, try even closer to home: http://www.fastforwardsuperchargers.com/. I've driven Tom's '99 & it's very smooth. Depending where you are in CA, you might even find it close enough to drive over & check them out.

I'm going up to Phoenix tomorrow to put my U3 Ubercharger on the dyno at AZ Dyno Chips. If they were available at the moment, I'd highly recommend one of them, too.

This company VF in Anaheim, CA used to make an NB SC kit. In fact, they hosted an open house/dyno day for SOCALM within the last year. But now it looks like they've gotten out of the Miata market. Their site has an interestingly SC-biased FAQ. See how many inaccuracies YOU can count!:

Not done yet. Among other things, they are improving the intake manifold design (inherited from Corky Bell, with whom FM parted ways) and finding a new blower supplier.

Speaking of which, I think Corky will be marketing the Uber kit himself (in its original form).

Actually, the Uber will be (read is) new and improved. The supercharger itself is a little different, although still twin screw. Also the boost control will have a new twist.
