Ok, it's about time for new pads for me and I'm thinking about a different pad compound. I heard many people debate over having the rotors turned when switching compounds. What is everyone's experence or opinion?

hmm how many miles on your rotors?, if a decent amount I would just slap some brembo blanks on there, you can get them real cheap prolly not much more than cost of turning rotors

They already a Brembos and about a year old. They're still in good shape.

You'll want to turn them to get the most out of the new pads. I've had some friends sand down the old pad material with something like 300 or 100 grit sponges...

But I just use the $20 blanks from my Advance Auto, heh.
