hi guys, ive been lurking on cr.net for a while now and most of my question are usually some thread someone already posted, but i havn't been able to find a breakdown or a faq for installing a tachometer. if i had a mazda miata book or owners guide im sure it would help me, but i didn't get one when i bought my miata. its a 92 and i was wondering if anyone had a guide on where to find all the wires to splice into to set up a tachometer.

it does, and i probably don't "need" another one but i've always been a fan of having one mounted in the middle of my cluster display.....similar to this guys... you know what i mean....ppl prollie gunna flame me and call it rice etc etc. well flame away = /

It's not rice unless you have a proper use for it and it's actually functional. :wink:

http://www.madracki.com/miata/wiring.html for wiring diagrams. Not sure if tach will be in there.

Might also want to ask and check miata.net for their resources. A friendly guy on there posted a couple pages of diagrams out of his $100 shop manual for me when I had electrical troubles.

I'll also look into it when I have more time.
