I bought a test pipe off another forum. Went to install it today and it was about three inches short and the flanges didny match up. I dont know alot about the difference in exhaust from the 1.6 - 1.8. Could it be that the test pipe was from a 1.6 and that is why it doeant match ip on my 1.8??

Just had a similar problem.

I ended up buying a 1.8 test pipe by accident when I needed a 1.6...however I assumed I needed the 1.8 one because of the motor but the only difference is the exhaust manifold that was changed and nothing else.

test the 1.8 cat or test pipe will be longer. I finally ended up buying a magna flow Hi-Flow cat because the exhaust was too loud and the cat helped to quiet it down.

long story short I have an extra 1.8 test pipe that was cut is half to see if it could be made to fit but the pipe diameter is also larger along with the flanges.

Length should be the same the difference is on the header side...the flange is clocked different..but the catback flange is the same

yea it was a 1.6 test pipe. The seller is gonna give my money back witch is really cool. Your pick really shows it the 1.6 is clocked different and also about 2-3 inches shorter than the 1.8
