I recognize some names over here. I got my 93' LE in 99'. She is now FM II'd, with other upgrades along the way. My dad got his first miata in 94' so I've been at this awhile too. He's now up to 3 turboed miatas and a NA 93' LE too. Look forward to getting to know some of you. :D

Welcome to CR! Convince your pop's to join the forum =D
Pops has enough email, etc. to look at, if he has to join a forum he usually skips it. I'll get pics posted eventually. King of the Hill was actually supposed to mimic Garland, Texas. I live at the tip of the DFW triangle, in Denton. Yes, Tim I am on yahoogroups, I hope your 'new' LE is treating you well. Mine is still holding strong with 223K on the clock, with now 95k motor, that came out an LE that received an FM stroker motor. Boost is gooood!

Mom went to school in Denton at Texas Women's.

I'm a former Houstonian, myself.
Denton is home to the #1 reason I'd consider moving to TX:

Rudy's is an Austin thing, but I'm happy it finally made it up here. They also sell Biodiesel.

I loves me some rudy's. I wish there were some good bbq places out here in DC. I might have to go snoop around the carolinas. But I gur-un-tee they wont serve me a loaf of bread and a basket of meat.

Biggest problem you'll encounter? Very few places East of the Mississippi can do BBQ brisket worth a dman. I've been Jonesing for good brisket since I left Tejas.

I love me some Red Hot & Blue dry ribs. Famous Dave's sucks in comparison. But still I imagine its no comparison to this Rudy's place which Ive never been to.

Ooooooooohhhhhhh... that may be a deal..... I've had Famous Dave's brisket and, though it's the best in this area, it's a mere shadow of real Tejas BBQ...

Ike? Wanna hook a brotha up? ;)

I remember the first time I had Rudy's brisket...I practically wet myself! I'd never tasted anything like it, and sadly, nothing since :(

Flashback:

Wow, didn't realize I joined this board so long ago. The motor has been rebuilt, the turbo has been rebuilt, and I'm putting miles on her. I need to get around here more.
