I just got hooked on to Morcheeba - Who Can You Trust?

Very funky. Kind of a cross between the 70s twang found in some Beastie Boys tracks with a Lucious Jackson kind of vocals.

How about some Quasi? or Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. Rainer Maria was my favorite band for a while. Les Savy Fav is one band evryone should check out live. Bob Log III lays down a sweet old school blues groove from a one man band.

Most evrything I listen too makes people go, "huh?"

heh, my gf listens to Kings of Convenience when she wants to sleep on plane trips (but she loves them)

Ted Leo + Pharmacists are a FANTASTIC live show.

Same with Matt Pond PA.

Forget one band, just listen to Soma FM's "indie pop rocks" station at somafm.com. it's run by my sis's pal.
