today in my job, a guy suggest me that, i should put a "motorcycle" exhaust to my nc... i was like.. say what?

he say, is a small engine, 2.0 and ****, so, it wound be a problem

so, my question is... its true?

If he is serious, yes you can put one on, just be sure that the opening diameter as at least equal to or bigegr than that of the stock exhaust. The tone it will produce usualy isnt to the taste of many. The pressures and frequencies targeted by a bike muffler design are completely different than a muffler design for a car.

They do it a lot for track cars in Japan. Used to see plenty of yoshimuras on small engined cars.

There was a guy on our FSAE team with a Honda CRV, and his exhaust completely rusted out. He looked around the shop, found 2 cherry bomb glass packs, and a CBR600 muffler. He basically used the glass packs instead of piping, then welded the motorcycle muffler on the end. Somehow, it turned out to sound amazing.
