The other day i was on my way to work and my car died on me. I pulled to the side of the road popped the hood and my CAS fell out. I put it back in and drove to work. Well It misfired/backfired alot. So when I got off work I retimed the whole timing. It still misfires and I dont know what it is.

Is there a special precedure I need to follow to time the CAS? I always thought you just put the thing in there.

oh, It doent misfire consistantlly, but when it does start to misfire it sounds like popcorn going off. It also backfires when I let off the gas.
Thanks

When timing it, I put it a 10 degrees btdc and have the E on the intake cam and the I on the exhaust facing up. And the plug wire order on a 1.6 is (right to left) 4123.
