Watsup fellow roadsters? I have a 92 Miata with a supercharger in it. When I drive the car under normal use, the clutch feels fine. However, when I drive it hard and the clutch heats up, I would have to release the clutch pedal all the way out before the clutch grabs. It has done it in 1st and 3rd gears. Is the engine output too much for the stock clutch to handle? Could it be that the clutch is stock and that it is time for replacement? I have almost 130k on the car. I bought the car used and am not sure whether the previous owner had replaced the clutch.

Hey Marty, yeah I noticed that bleeding the system and changing the slave cylinder is the usual recommended cure for past posting of clutch problem. I will try that and hope that would do it. Hopefully, with the money I saved, I can reward myself with a lightened flywheel. Muhahaa.
