Thank you! The car's off at the shop right now getting paint, but should be finished by the end of the week. I'm sticking with the standard red, but it'll really look a lot better. She's far from finished, but in the mean time, I've got plenty to do.

Sukie is back from paint, and she looks so much better! There's a few imperfections, but overall this is a massive improvement

It seems like I keep missing with my seats. These ones are also a bit tight and cause my right leg to fall asleep after 30 minutes. So I'm going back to the 914 seats for a while, until I can find a good condition pair to replace them or I have them rebuilt into the Renegade Customs Touring seats

I think the 914 seats covered with what you used on the door panels would look OUTSTANDING!!!
That's something I've been considering for a while now. I've got a local shop that's quoted me $700 for both seats, since I already have the materials. I'll probably do this once the built engine is dropped in

It's been a minute since I updated this thread. Life's been busy especially with studying for promotion boards, BLC, and getting stationed in Korea.

So far the car has been a blast with the new engine, but unfortunately a suspected faulty oil pump resulted in zero oil pressure one morning. I didn't run it at all once I saw it, but it will hopefully be up and running soon. Prior to that, we dyno'd at 279whp but ran out of injector, so that's next on the upgrade list. I thought the 610's would be good for about 320whp, but apparently not.

In other news, I was able to score a piece of unabtanium in the form of a brand new KG Works gauge cluster. This will look perfect with my gauges and Prototipo wheel. Being away from the old girl for a year is gonna suck, but at least I can save money for the other upgrades I want.

Oh yeah, also got a MiataRoadster shifter. Now I can definitely see why it's more expensive than other's. It's the best shifter on the market for a Miata, hands down. Nothing else even comes close to it

Almost two years since an update? Dang, time flies.

But thankfully my Miata is back together with her refreshed and bulletproofed engine. We found the oil pressure relief valve on the BE Stage 1 pump had failed, so I decided to get FM's stage 3 unit that includes a hardened steel relief valve, so that won't be getting stuck anymore. I also decided to get a legit GTX2860R Gen2 turbo for better power and response.

But, as far as looks go, we did new engine bay paint and a wet sand and polish on the body. I gotta say, this little car looks so damn good! It's gonna be perfect to shake her down at MATG this year!

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I splurged again and got the FM Crossflow Radiator and their new brushless fan setup. No more overheating for me!
