It's been a minute since I updated this thread. Life's been busy especially with studying for promotion boards, BLC, and getting stationed in Korea.
So far the car has been a blast with the new engine, but unfortunately a suspected faulty oil pump resulted in zero oil pressure one morning. I didn't run it at all once I saw it, but it will hopefully be up and running soon. Prior to that, we dyno'd at 279whp but ran out of injector, so that's next on the upgrade list. I thought the 610's would be good for about 320whp, but apparently not.
In other news, I was able to score a piece of unabtanium in the form of a brand new KG Works gauge cluster. This will look perfect with my gauges and Prototipo wheel. Being away from the old girl for a year is gonna suck, but at least I can save money for the other upgrades I want.
Oh yeah, also got a MiataRoadster shifter. Now I can definitely see why it's more expensive than other's. It's the best shifter on the market for a Miata, hands down. Nothing else even comes close to it
