If that rubber dampner is correct then that makes me a happy man.

I have been doubting my status of having a Torsen or not, everything says I do except my manual windows.

I guess it'll just be confirmed when I change the fluid.

on a 15 year old car. The only way to know for certain is to pull an axle and look in the diff. Who knows what a PO did as far as swapping out parts.

FULL LOCK > 6K > DROP THE CLUTCH. simple as that....... do a few donuts. if it feels smooth and both tires lock, bingo. Just get out of the car after and look for two solid marks all the way around the circle. If it bounces off the redline violently and struggles to kick out, womp womp womp. open.....

If you want to go through the hassle of jacking it up, spinning this, checking for that, blah blah blah. Just get in the car and punch it. Whats more fun? Sitting in your living room talking on the phone with a Mazda rep, or doing donuts.
