well ,lighter? im sure it is.
stronger , i dont know , says its larger.
mainly, the oem shafts dont last forever . the joints start to bind. they should loosely flop around when in your hand. not be stiff ,like say a new front tie rod end. and they are not serviceable .
i paid almost 3bills for a regular serviceable shaft. i think the aluminum for an extra hundred might be over priced.
this is a simple item almost any driveshaft specialty shop can make. look around locally and call . i bet you can beat that price.
