Can't wait for my boxes of parts to start rolling in. Keeping the bay the same color or going to change things up a bit?
Woahhhhhhhhh, so much..........CANDY
Speaking of candy, I wish more companies sent candy with orders.

Its a great feeling, but my wallet is in pain!

I'm not sure about colors yet. I kind of have an idea about which color I'd like for the car, but that could change at any moment. I'm pretty indecisive, so I'd rather not say something and take it back 100 times.

Re: Tree's Roadster

I took a quick look at them the other day. I will be able to use about half of the little screws in the original spot. I'm thinking about using a resin to make my own mounting points similiar to the OEM ones and using a small self tapping screw. That way, if it works as I plan, it's a very OEM approach.
I've also heard of people using an epoxy to make new mounting points for the door card uppers. Seeing the door panel in white looks sort of good, could be a look of it's own on a white car.
I think that's what I plan on doing too - I found this as I'm starting to compile everything I need to redo mine

I'll be bookmarking that link now, danke.
No idea why it took me so long but I'm finally subscribing to this thread. Excellent work so far, looking forward to the final product

Greyhound's hours are stupid. Only open 9am-12pm on Saturday and everyday during the week they close before I'm out of school. I took my lunch break early today and booked across town to make it there before they closed.

This happened today. <3

I've always been a fan of TE37s, but I can't afford them. So I got a nice, wide functional wheel that reminds me of them. They should fill out the flares pretty good!

I will post more pictures after work. :)

This may be the first bit of your build I'm not totally pumped on. Don't let it stop you though, the only opinion that matters is yours, so keep on rocking!
I'm thinking we'll have to see how they turn out mounted up. I'm not keen on 17s on a miata myself, but I've been surprised before. Keep rockin it Tree

Hopefully they turn out as I plan and don't have the Donk look to them.

Well I finally had time today to open the wheels up.

As you probably would have guessed they are NOT the truck wheels on the box, but instead are these:

Ready?

Work Meister CR01 3 piece wheels

15x9 +7 in the front
15x9.5 +1 for the rears

As you can tell they were pretty dirty

I gave them a shower to clean them up

Those aren't scratches. It's reflections of the grass

The lip on the fronts. Using a dollar bill because that reflects my bank account right now.

3 piece welded goodness.

The lip on the rears is a little bit wider.

Fronts compared to rear.

And the set. Still need a good cleaning compared to a rinse. I'm going to buy a Mother's Powerball to get in all the tight spots. Cleaning between the bolts won't be the easiest thing.
