What I meant to say was gather all the body parts I need then fabrication and body work.
I was thinking along the lines of if I were to get fabrication done before I bought everything the tube front would be sitting bare metal for a while. This way I'm buying everything to be ready for fabrication and body work. In the end it doesn't matter, everything will be done before paint.
Rev9 says 5-10 business days to ship the item then the shipping option I chose was 5-10 days air mail. Shouldn't be more than 20 days.

Little update on the parts.
-My flares shipped from Japan on the 6th, as of 11pm on the 7th they were in Toronto, which is 4 hours from me. Over night parts from Japan.
hillyb: They should be here in 2 days
-My APR mirrors shipped out and should be at my US mailbox by the end of the week.
-Slick Auto shipped my mirror mounts about 2 hours ago. No ETA on those, probably 4-5 days.
-Adam made my custom gauges and sent me a little sneak peak of them. He asked me to keep it to myself, sorry guys. They look really nice though! They should be at the mailbox by the end of the week.
Not a lot of progress has been made on the car. This week is exam week so I've spent a lot of time studying. Once the parts arrive I will do mock ups. I'm excited for that.

Unless you take forever to mount yours I highly doubt it. I, unfortunately, have a lot of body work to do first.

When I got home from writing my exam today I saw a box sitting on the dinning room table! I'm surprised they came here this quickly. Shipped from Japan on the 6th. I'm also VERY surprised there was no customs charge on it. I was expecting to pay about $140 on them, but Jubiride marked the value as 6000 yen which is about $58 canadian. Pretty happy about that.

I quickly installed the fenders and taped the flares on. I was planning on pushing the car all the way out of the garage, but my Mom parked the Fusion too close. Oh well, you get the idea.

Overall I am happy with the test fit. It's far from perfect, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the fitment issues I've read.

Yeah, I probably will :lol: Talking to someone about buying an immaculate mariner blue shell and then taking the body parts off of it.Unless you take forever to mount yours I highly doubt it. I, unfortunately, have a lot of body work to do first.

I went to Detroit today to pick my parts up and also sold my ITR 5 lug when I was there. I almost got mugged. It was terrifying. I have to be up super early tomorrow morning for work, so I'm only posting a teaser right now. I haven't even opened any of the parts yet. I'll post pictures as I get them as well as the story of the almost mugging.
