So I'm going to Japan Dec 6th and coming back Dec 23rd to help my girl move back to Cali. My trip will start off in Kokubu, Kagoshima and end in Tokyo (Shibuya area). I know the Maruha shop is very close to her house in Kagoshima so I will most likely try to hit up that shop, aside from there I am not sure what else I should check out before I come back.

I actually want to check out a drift event, or Roadster meet or something along the lines of that. So if any of you guys will also be out there or can suggest any events or shops I should check out in those areas I would greatly appreciate it!

Looks like there's a Roadster meet in Yokohama on the 19th http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.open-inc.co.jp%2Frcoj%2Fevent_info%2Findex.html&sl=ja&tl=en&hl=&ie=UTF-8

I'd recommend hitting up Carmake Corn's on your way back home. It's supposed to be really close to one of the stations there in Tokyo (shinjuku maybe?) Check their website for directions just in case. I haven't been to any Roadster shops yet since I live in Hokkaido. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm sure someone else on here lives in the Osaka or Tokyo areas and can be of more help.

His pics are no longer up on his website but if you search this site you might find the wonderful, multi-part series depicting Tetsuya Garage's trip to Japan in 2007. He visited all the major Roadster shops. Also look for the thread where the blue potato, FooSchnickens and timallen documented their trip to Karuzaiwa in 2008? as they did a lot of stuff in between.
