Capital.

How well's that boot cover holding up? Does it stay on the car even at speed?
It's holding up well! It stays on well but after highway driving I have to do some adjustments when I park to get everything sitting just so again but doesn't flap around while driving.

I have been looking though old treads and I love the wiper blade mod done on Warbird @GreaseMonkey2000 and I decided to give it a shot! Instead of drilling holes in the arm I decided to add some staggered cuts. I love how it turned out but I still need to play with the wiper position to find the right spot, but its good for now.

I'm also very glad I took the car out to take some photos because I realized that my tags expire this month and I would hate to lose these tags!

I like it! :) Subtle but small touches like that can be some of the most "significant". Thanks for the acknowledgement! :icon_cheers:

All the parts for a much needed upgrade came in today! With MATG right around the corner, I used that as an excuse to finally upgrade my headlights. Im not really a fan of the Jeep style LED headlights or the lightbar low pro options so I knew I wanted to keep stock style lights. The obvious upgrade was to to for an h4 option. I was originally planning on getting some hella lights, coming from the Subaru world that seemed like the obvious option. I did some research and found out that the Cibies are the better light as they direct the beam better. For bulbs there is a lot of debate as to what is best. According to the wiring diagram the stock bulbs are 65/45. A lot of people were saying that going for bulbs with more draw would me needing to upgrade the wire from the stock 16 to at least a 14. I looked over the wiring diagram and it seems as though the headlights are being run off the column switch without a relay in-between so upgrading the stock wiring would be a pain. To play it safe and not get involved with the complex stock wiring I decided to add new relays and larger wires to accommodate the new lights. Since I was upgrading the wiring now I decided to go with 100/55 bulbs. The lows are close to stock but the highs are much brighter. In addition to handling the higher power draw with the higher gauge wiring I also got some ceramic h4 connectors to handle the heat from the new lights. I plan to do the install as neat and orderly as possibly and I'll post some more pictures as I progress. The first step will be making the new headlight wiring harness.

Well today I made the wiring harness and installed it into the car. I'm waiting to install the new lights until tonight so I can get some before and after shots. For the wiring harness I used a 10awg wire to run power to each relay, and then 14awg for each wire to the light. It should be more than enough to support the added draw. I'm getting the coil signal for the relay from the old bulb plug since the ceramic connectors I got had both male and female sides, I could just plug in directly. I was able to mount the new relays next to the headlight motor relay in the engine bay so they are nice a tucked away. I also wrapped the whole harness in nylon heat shrink so it should be protected and it look clean in the bay. I can't wait to see how these perform at night!
