I want to have my Miata dyno’d. Not so much for tuning, I think I’ve got that pretty well sorted, but just so I have the numbers for when I’m asked the “how much power does it have” question. For this reason I don’t want to have to pay much. A free dyno day at a local shop would be awesome. Or does anyone know of a place in socal that will do it for cheap?

Dude. There's only one place to go for bragging rights in southern California.
'Nuff said.
Thanks, but I'm more interested in accurate numbers than higest numbers.

Accuracy as compared to what?

Dynos are best to record changes in power output.
Just find one dyno to use... and keep going back there.

The deltas should be pretty close...

Doesn't matter which dyno. What matters is having your car dyno'd completely stock vs. modded so you can tell how much power was actually gained.

Did someone say baseline?

Gee, look. 4% improvement in HP and 3% improvement in TQ.

And yes, you can definitely feel those numbers in your butt.
