The previous owner of my car installed a double din japanese stereo in my car and it sounds great, but it doesn't pick up american frequencies, it tries to pick up stations below 87.7, I heard there's a converter that plugs in between the antennae and the stereo, any ideas?

FM band converters... check ebay but I'm sure you'll have to get it shipped from hong kong or wherever.

I just got a shiver of nostalgia for the 90s...

I always wanted a Pioneer Carozzeria (spelling?) stereo for my old NB.

Yeah, you're gonna need a band converter, not expensive from what I remember...
