Folks,

I've got a long trip down to California coming up with my girlfriend (ending at Laguna Seca and the Skip Barber open wheel racing school) and it's time to do a couple of things to my 1990 to make it a more enjoyable trip. I've already pretty much worked out what I want to do for my OEM suspension, but I'd like to fix all the buzzes and rasps I get from my very old exhaust system.

So what are your opinions on cat-back systems?

I've been leaning towards the RB; read a lot of good things.

The goal is better tone, can be louder, but not obnoxious at highway speeds.

New exhaust.

Good sound and it can be a little louder than stock

But it's got to be acceptable at highway speeds for long periods (6 hours, plus).

If you want a little louder the Borla dual exhaust sport system is really good sounding.
