I have been looking at ebay cold airs for a while, they usually run around $35 for a "sam's choice" type generic ass set up for my '99....i went to actually buy one today and every single company has jacked up their prices by $100!!! now the same cheap ass system is $139 or some ****, more than the cheapest k&n.....what gives? every Chinese ebay company has done this not just one. head over to ebay and see for yourself http://www.ebay.com/itm/MAZDA-MIATA...:1999|Model:Miata&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d3073db57

For that price you'd be better off buying some intercooler piping, couplers, and a filter to make the same thing. And they're all hot air intakes anyway.

Easy solution:
Don't shop on eBay for cheap/homemade/knock-off stuff. Let the ricer kids worry about the rising price of these things.
