so i finally found a big enough breaker bar to get the axle nuts loose..... about the size of the car lol.... anyways pulled ppf out the way, what a POS that thing is.... got the diff removed....... started car and there was not anymore noise..... so now i am confident that the noise is coming from diff.... 99% sure its pinion bearing but is there anything out of the oridinary that i should be looking out for before i take it apart?

thanks in advance...
i know wear on gears..... seized bearings..... leaking seals..... metal shavings, all that good stuff...... but is there anything else?
