i'm wondering if anyone knows which k&n filter works better? after sifting through the menu at www.knfilters.com with a 1994 miata (1.8l)...there are two (2) filters listed.

[33-2034]

[33-2676]

any ideas? thanks!

hmmm... i'm using k&n drop=in, but took it out and slapped on a cone filter. only because it seems to have a slight better pick-up. using the kn drop-in seems to work good when i remove the pipe after the air box. that pipe must have a lot of restrictions.

to make the story short, i think 33-2034 will work better by how the mesh are placed vertically following the path of air flow. i didn't notice there were 2 types...i think the one i used for a short period was the 33-2676 or the one on the bottom...with the mesh running horizontally of airflow. would there actually be a difference? i dunno. why don't you get the 33-2034 and then try mine to find out?
