I'm looking for help ID-ing who are considered by locals to be the leading "serious performance" Roadster parts retailers, turbo kit shops, and race engine builders in the UK for me to contact re: selling my oil pump gears.

Thanks for any help!

I am :)

MX5 performance retailers:
http://www.mx5mad.com/
http://www.performance5.com/
http://www.tracktec.co.uk/

Performance 5 is closed at the moment as the proprietor is on Holiday, until the 16th.

Regular retailers:
http://www.jimparts.co.uk/
http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/
http://www.jagspares.co.uk/mx5/company.asp
http://www.ekmpowershop2.com/ekmps/shops/autolinkuk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYCAT&catid=8
http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/

I think that this is most of them.
The only built engines I've heard of in the UK have come over from the US, I don't think there have been any local ones done.

Scole Engineering , TDI (Toda Power dealer), Paul Sheard have all built MX5 engines. Rotechniks might have done something on these lines as well. Holbay Engineering did work with Mazda for the MX5 Cup Cars.

Last time I pointed a trader towards potential partners, he paid me £200 :? There are a whole bunch of knowledgable engineers in the UK outside the immediate small circle of MX5 bolt-on specialists most known within the MX5 community. Add to the list www.mx5heaven.co.uk, who is doing a lot of business supporting MX5-Westfields, as well as bringing out his own version
