According to m.net, all you have to do is grind off the stock brace tabs and a little bit of material. You dont touch the cannon brace. It works fine its just not a direct bolt on because of the grinding required. The 90-91 did not have these tabs. I was wondering the same thing, thanks for reminding me to look it up cause i have a 96 that i want to put one on.
I have one sitting around hanging off my toolbox. Every time I look at it, i think "I should install this!"... then the next time the car's in the air, i go "damnit, I don't want to screw my alignment and do that much grinding!".
It's been sitting nearly a year now. Heh.
