I've heard these in traditional home speaker setups and thought they were pretty decent. Any thoughts about how well they'd work in the headrests would be appreciated.

they look deep measure the hole to make sure they will fit.

Anyone know the impedence on the factory headrest speakers? I only ask because most car audio systems are designed around 4 ohm speakers, and these are 8 ohms. If you run them in parallel, you should get decent sound. just keep in mind that if the factory system is designed for a different impedance, you may have some volume issues or worst case (not likely) heating of the HU amplifier. That said, it's all low risk, so give it a whack!

You will have volume issues and run the risk of frying the amp.

Remember, a single 4 ohm speaker is the equivalent of two 8 ohm speakers in parallel
