As the title states. I would prefer a local trade for the NB 4.3 Torsen (99-02). I see this as desirable to someone looking for a little extra mileage or gearing.

My torsen is on my '94 M w/ 150k.

The diff is small. About 200rpm at 60 iirc. Look it up at flyin miata's gear calc.
Maybe, try smaller side walls? That's if you have 14's.

I'm not suggesting anyone cheat but it's going to take a real keen eye/ear to notice a 4.44 vs a 4.3 r&p.
