well taken the fact that i got the seat for $80 cdn each... i think i will go with it.

installation is a pain in the ass, seat is high and now i feel like driving a mini van.

the seat dont even worth my $80... i will post some pic later.

So are you happy with your seats or do you feel you would have been better served putting that $160 towards a higher-quality seat?

haha, i only changed one side so it's only $80 for me. And i did a "cut seat foam" mod last nite (got the idea from garage section of miata.net) and it's perfect now.

but if i do the "cut seat foam" mod with the stock seat and make it more bucket, i could have saved that $80 bucks.

The narrower-shouldered Speed is a better fit.

I've seen the Recaro SR-III mounted in plenty of JDM roadsters, and one of Flyin Miata's show cars had SRDs. I asked FM how they got it in there and they had no idea. :p

the seat is not too big, the miata is too small... haha...
