One of the local guys has it - sold it to him couple years back. If you are interested, PM me and I will give you his email to see if he wants to sell it.

Looks like he is moving all his items to auctions, probably a sign he is getting outta the Miata gig and moving on with the vintage bikes, get his parts while you can either direct or through REV9 or Tetsuya Garage.

I was gonna order the Nakamae seats directly from them and then I was shocked the website is down. That is pretty sad.

Last time i checked you can no longer order the the Type-Retro seats like I owned as an individual, they are now only pre-pay in advance, made-to-order, and you can only get them from a few select Nakamae dealers. Try Rspeed, or REV9 in NorthAmerica, as for ordering from Japan direct possibly try Drophead, not sure who else in Japan, Zoom was pretty much the main go-to guy for Nakamae parts.


Anyhow the rush is now one for NA parts, im in the market for the Tan Versions of the same seats I had before. I never realized how crappy the stock seats are and how high they sit until i drove the 95 Merlot home.

you are scaring me here. are you saying that some nakamae & all zoom engineering parts will become very scarce items to source in the near future?

It's been happening for some time now. Particularly NA parts. Get em while you can.

I see there's a new setup now tho, so I'd think the new shop works.

After placing a order, they email back with a shipping quote where they ask if it's okey, then they charge and ship.
